Anna  is the founder and lead designer of ARJ Home Design LLC, established in 2015 with a vision to create timeless, luxury residential designs that blend elegance, functionality, and thoughtful planning. As owner and head designer, Anna personally oversees all custom homes and residential projects, guiding each design from initial concept through construction-ready plans.

With over 13 years of experience in the construction and design industry, Anna brings a deep understanding of both aesthetics and buildability to every project. She holds an Associate’s degree in Drafting and Design and is known for producing highly detailed, practical designs that meet local building codes and are ready for real-world construction throughout the Birmingham metro area. Her work bridges creativity and precision, ensuring clients receive designs that are as functional as they are visually striking.

Anna’s design process is deeply collaborative. She draws inspiration from her clients’ ideas, local architecture, and the natural environment, refining each vision into a cohesive and elevated design. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Anna works closely with clients to ensure even the smallest elements align with their lifestyle and long-term goals. Her approachable, friendly personality and commitment to excellence have helped build long-lasting relationships and a strong referral-based business.

Nathan Gerdau

 Nathan is a designer with a strong work ethic, a passion for creating meaningful spaces, and a hands-on approach to every project he takes on. Known for being self-motivated, approachable, and personable, Nathan takes pride in working closely with clients to bring their ideas to life through thoughtful design and careful attention to detail.

Nathan draws inspiration from the creative process itself—treating each project as a fresh start and blank canvas. He enjoys exploring a wide range of design styles, with a particular appreciation for ultra-modern elements, while remaining versatile to meet each client’s unique vision. Hearing clients’ reactions to plans and renderings is what drives him most and keeps him motivated.



Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, and doing yard work, and considers design not just a career, but a hobby he truly loves. Grateful for the path his career has taken, he continues to pursue opportunities that challenge him creatively, with a long-term goal of contributing to large-scale and high-rise design projects.

Taylor Doss

Taylor is a dedicated and creative designer with a passion for home design and a strong commitment to personal and professional growth. Hardworking, family-oriented, and collaborative by nature, Taylor brings warmth, creativity, and care to every project she works on. She believes that thoughtful design has the power to positively impact people’s lives and takes pride in contributing to spaces that feel both functional and meaningful.

Taylor has long known that home design is what she was meant to do. Motivated by a desire to continually learn and improve, she approaches each project as an opportunity to grow creatively while delivering high-quality results. She is especially drawn to classic and traditional architectural styles, finding inspiration in Georgian, French Tudor, Colonial, and Farmhouse designs. Taylor enjoys elevating older homes and blending timeless elegance with modern livability.

What drives Taylor most is the collaborative nature of design. She values working closely with clients and team members to bring ideas to life, turning concepts into spaces that reflect each client’s unique vision. Her creative mindset, paired with a strong work ethic, allows her to thoughtfully balance aesthetics, practicality, and personal expression in every design.
